MSFriends has a primary mission: to improve the quality of life for people with Multiple Sclerosis, for their families and friends. MS affects all ages and races. Over 1.5 million people and their families in the US are affected by MS. Many are isolated and suffering in silence.
MSFriends is offering the first 24/7 telephone helpline staffed with people who have MS.
We offer the invaluable service of "Friends Helping Friends." These are immediate lifelines that offer MSFriends Guided Outreach to anyone, anywhere.
MSFriends is the first initiative of The VisionWorks Foundation, Inc., a 501c3. Refining this MSFriends Guided Outreach approach as a model for other chronic conditions is in the future.
The VisionWorks Foundation, Inc. and MSFriends continue to bring needed inspirational and practical programs to people living with MS and other chronic illnesses, helping them to improve their quality of life, and, by doing so, help them know that they are not alone.
